How to troubleshoot, if the Agent is not communicating to manager but able
to validate the manager availability from browser? (Assuming manager/Agent
configuration is fine)

Check the manager
connectivity using ICMP ping and telnet
Check if there is a proxy
between the eG agent and manager, if proxy exists make sure that the eG agent
is configured to connect using the proxy
Check the Nick name set
for the agent and the component is configured with the same
Check the error_log files for some basic clues, located under egurkha\agent\logs
If you still have issue, send the error_log file to eG helpdesk for more assistance.
