I use nicknames when installing eG Agents, and i just found out i have used it incorrectly on one server. How can i update the nick name manually?
To change the nick name on the agent server,
1. Stop the eG Agent using the start menu.
2. Open a command prompt as administrator and go to <eG_install_dir)\agents\config:>
3. Type the command "notepad eg_nick.ini"
4. Change the nick name of the agent as you want, save it and close it.
5. Start the eG Agent using the start menu To change the nick name on the Manager console.

1. Go to Admin -> Infrastructure ->Component -> Add/Modify
2. Select the component that you want to change the nick name and click on edit icon.
3. Change the nick same as what you have given on the eG Agent server and update.
