Slow response from eG manager

What are the troubleshooting steps when eG manager is slow?

Follow the below instructions

  • Review the logs files generated by eG
  • Check the network delay between eG manager and the database backend 
  • Check the performance of eG database by checking the average insert time for a record 
  • Check resource availability on eG manager machine (CPU/Memory/Disk IO)
  • Check the resource consumption for Tomcat, if Tomcat is taking much resource analyze which of the eG manager process is consuming the resources using stack trace.
  • Check for blocked java threads using the stack trace.
  • Check state manager performance using the stack trace
