The license information page displays the features of eG Manager License provided.  




Product: Information about the product name.


Version: eG Manager Version name.


IP Address: IP Address of eG Manager Server tied up with the license.


Host ID: Host name of the eG Manager Server tied up with the license. 


Expiry Date: Shows the expiry date of the license. 


Licensing is valid for: License validity


Mail Sender ID: eG licensing team to know the license usage


Cluster Type: This feature indicates whether license supports the redundant setup of the eG Manager 


Integration console: This feature of the eG manager will allow users to build custom applications. 


Trouble Ticket Manager: This indicates whether the eG manager has the licensing capability for integrating with the third party trouble ticketing system.


Detailed Diagnosis: This indicates whether the eG manager license has the detailed diagnosis capability.


External Supermanager: This indicates whether the eG manager has the license capability for integrating with the third party monitoring solutions


eG Supermanager Support: This indicates whether the eG manager has the super manager capability to manage multiple eG managers in an environment.


eG Report: This indicates whether the eG manager has the reporting module feature.


Remote Control Activities: This indicates whether the eG manager has the license capability to control the agents from remote location.


SMS Alerts: This indicates whether the eG manager has the SMS alerting capability.


Configuration Management: This indicates whether the eG manager has the license capability for configuration management module:


Metric Aggregation: This indicates whether the eG manager has the metric aggregation feature.


Agent per System:  If this feature is enabled, if the host has multiple IPs and applications, a single agent license is sufficient to manage all the IP addresses and applications executing on the host.


Client Emulation: The feature controls the capability of the eG agents to run client emulation tests that allows administrators to record user transactions to an application and configure the eG agent to replay the recorded transaction to extract the required measures. 


Tips :-

  • License file should always be deployed on the <eg_installed_dir>\bin folder
  • License file should always be deployed without an extension

Note:-
  • License would be tied up with IP, host name and MAC address of the eG manager server. In case if you wish to change the IP or Host name or MAC address then please fill the attached "eG License change request form", scan it and send it back to eG.
